George O’Krepkie is the Chairman and CEO of AX Trading Group, Inc. As an experienced entrepreneur, George is an expert in building and successfully delivering fintech platforms across multiple asset classes. He has remarkable track record of over two decades in the financial services industry, including the major sale of Bonds.com to The London Stock Exchange. He was also a facilitator of the launch of TradingEdge and MarketAxess. George received a BA from the University of Maryland.

Brian Megenity

Brian serves as the Chief Financial Officer for AX Trading Group, Inc. and the Financial/Operations Principal for our Broker-Dealer; AX Trading, LLC. He started his career at the NASD in Atlanta in 1993. In 2001, Brian started BD Consulting Associates, Inc. (“BDCA”). Prior to joining AX, he held a number of different positions in the securities industry including Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Director of Sales Practices & Advertising and Director of Surveillance. Brian served as Chief Compliance Officer for a large insurance affiliated broker/dealer with more than 6000 registered representatives.

Jamie Atkinson

Jamie serves as Head of Sales and Trading at AX Trading Group, Inc. He brings 35 years of experience to the position. The highlights  include being Manager of Short Coupon Desk at RMJ from 1988-1992, rebuilding Treasury Desk at BGC/Cantor after 9/11 in 2005, to building and creating a Corporate Bond Electronic Auction Platform at Tradition Brokerage in 2016-2017. Jamie has worked before for George O'Krepkie at Bonds.Com, where they built a Corporate Bond ATS that challenged Market Access in the electronic space before being sold to the London Stock Exchange. Jamie has his Series 7, Series 63 and NY Life Insurance Licenses. He holds a B.S. in Management from St Johns University.

George Morell

George has an impressive, well-rounded background in both finance and capital markets.  George started his career at Credit Suisse in prime brokerage where he led fund transfer process for the firm’s largest institutional counterparties.  After working at Credit Suisse, George moved continued his career at Cantor Fitzgerald where he was a Cash Equities sales trader.  During his tenure at Cantor George provided exceptional sales coverage to some of the firm’s largest hedge funds (exceeding $10B), introduced portfolio hedging offerings to FI focused clients through Cantor’s Macro derivatives desk, and worked closely with a newly formed Cantor Electronic trading desk by assisting with Sales and Marketing.  After Cantor, George became an Executive Director at OutSet Global Trading, an outsourced buy-side trading desk. Here he seamlessly replicated the role as an Executive Director and acted as an extension to an in house buy-side trading desk. At OutSet Global, George was the single point of contact to multiple brokers across a fragmented market place. George is a registered rep holding both the series 7 and 63 licenses.

Mr. Commissiong is President & CEO, Co-Founder and a member of the Board of Directors of Amarantus Bioscience Holdings, Inc and Co-founder and Managing Partner at Fortitude Advisors LLC. Mr. Commissiong has been responsible for leading the Company's strategic transactions, licensing, research collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, and fund raising. He has raised over of $40 million to acquire and develop assets to build a robust therapeutics and diagnostics pipeline for Amarantus. Prior to becoming CEO in October 2011, Mr. Commissiong was the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to co-founding Amarantus, Mr. Commissiong played professional football for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. Mr. Commissiong received a B.Sc. in Management Science and Engineering with a focus on Financial Decisions from Stanford University.

Victor Angermueller

Victor has over 25 years of corporate experience in e-commerce, communications, compliance and the financial services industry. He is the Senior Managing Director of US Trading Group, LLC which consults and invests in financial technology companies. Previously, he was a Managing Director of Radnor Research and Trading Company, a privately owned Broker/Dealer and a Member of the New York Stock Exchange. Victor specialized in providing investment banking and financial advisory services to middle market companies, including advisory on mergers and acquisitions, distressed company restructuring and debt and equity private placements. Prior to joining Radnor Research, he was Founding Principal of Alta Capital LLC an investment management firm. Victor also specialized in distressed and bankruptcy debt sales for Stanford Phelps. His work experience also includes retail and institutional sales positions at Smith Barney, Oppenheimer, and UBS. Victor holds a BA from Franklin and Marshall College.

Frank Caruso

Frank is an international lawyer specializing in the negotiation of corporate transactional matters specifically in Asia-Pacific and China. He has advised C Level executives on corporate legal issues for 21 years in technology, telecommunications, natural resources and military sales.  As a China strategist, he advises multi-national corporations and start-ups on doing business in China and Asia-Pacific and handles government relations, regulatory compliance and corporate advisory.  

Frank has worked with and advised companies such as: Microsoft, Intel, Cisco Systems, Nortel Networks, Alcatel, AT&T, Verizon, Whirlpool and many others.  He has also done extensive work with U.S. and foreign governments and has negotiated some of the largest technology related contracts. Frank earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland; a Juris Doctorate from the Quinnipiac University School of Law; and is a member of the Maryland Bar.  He is also a former United States Marine Corps infantry officer where he attained the rank of Captain and a current member of the Business Executives for National Security.

Jennifer is the Chief Human Resources Officer & Senior Advisor for AX Trading Network. She brings us over two decades of Management and Human Resources experience. She oversees building the sales and trading teams and supports infrastructure as the firm scales domestically and internationally. Jennifer has a BA from the University of Maryland.

Donato J. Cuttone

Donato J. Cuttone is Chief Executive Officer and Partner at Cuttone & Company, an independent NYSE / FINRA Member firm. Mr. Cuttone also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New York Stock Exchange’s National Exchange, previously serving as a Board Member on the National Stock Exchange from February 2015 through January 2017. In addition, he sits on the Board of Advisors for DriveWealth who brings the U.S. Stock Market to Investors worldwide, Rally.Rd who democratizes alternative asset investing, and Ax Trading an Institutional Block ETN and provider of global auction trading technology.

An entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Cuttone has developed and successfully launched additional businesses in proprietary trading and asset management.

Starting his career as a Clerk in 1987 and working his way up through all levels of the company to gain core expertise in the microstructure of the U.S. Equity market, Mr. Cuttone was elected as Floor Official in 1999, Senior Floor Official in 2003, and is currently an active Floor Governor. He has served for 17 years as an NYSE Floor Broker, while overseeing the company’s operational leadership.

Jon Najarian

Jon ‘DRJ’ Najarian was linebacker for the Chicago Bears before he turned to another kind of contact sport – trading on the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He became a member of the CBOE, NYSE, CME and CBOT and worked as a
floor trader for some 25 years. In 1990 he founded Mercury Trading, a
market-making firm at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), which he sold
in 2004 to Citadel, one of the world’s largest hedge funds. In 2005 Jon
co-founded optionMONSTER and tradeMONSTER, sold a majority stake to private
equity firm General Atlantic Partners in 2014 & two years later sold the
firm to E*Trade for $750M. Today, he is a professional investor, money manager,
stock & crypto markets analyst.

Jason Leibowitz

Jason has over 10 years of experience across financial markets and blockchain technology. He is currently the blockchain and distributed ledger technology strategist at Credit Suisse and has been working with the bank for nearly 2 years. Jason has made a name for himself in the growing crypto space, having published two articles on Bitcoin and blockchain, and moderated multiple panels at large conferences focusing on crypto investing and applying blockchain technology for payments. 

Previously, Jason was Head of Business Development for a hedge fund that actively managed a portfolio of crypto assets in New York called Sator Square Partners. Prior to entering the crypto world, Jason worked for TD Securities in fixed income sales, primarily working with global macro hedge funds. Jason graduated from the George Washington University with a bachelor of business administration in finance.

Gurpreet Oberoi

Gurpreet currently focuses on high growth businesses with a global vision as an investor and operator. He has worked on highly visible projects throughout Africa and the Middle East as an operator and financier focused on technology, energy, and healthcare. He was part of a consortium which was shortlisted for $20 billion of infrastructure assets in Nigeria and has worked with the Asset Management Company of Nigeria in privatizing non-performing loans. Gurpreet has raised both debt and equity for VC backed companies and has also done large blocks of private placements for unicorn technology companies. Gurpreet previously held advisory roles with Bank of Montreal, UBS, Macquarie, Credit Suisse and Citigroup on capital markets strategy and regulatory technology. He started his career at Rice Financial Products where he helped the firm win over $5 billion of Senior Managed deals and oversaw the firm's derivatives portfolio. He has received a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and has also attended the London School of Economics.
